Replacement for Loadmaster OEM (Fulton) jack which was top-winding. Replaced tongue with equal length section, but would not fit and swivel in same space behind bow rest. Moved forward of bow rest, and works fine, but handle hangs down. I'll use a bungee to keep the handle up and should be OK. Much easier to use with vertical winding, and the built in grease fitting should keep it operating smoothly for years.

I've gone through two of these things so far. The last one lasted me about 9 months until it froze up. I do use it a lot but I also rinsed it off after every use with fresh water. I greased it multiple times. This thing IS NOT MADE FOR SALTWATER! I see all the other reviews and question how often they use theirs and if it was submersed in saltwater. West marine will not warranty it! It's a manufacture warranty. I tried warrantying it with Fulton and got NO WHERE. It worked well for a few months and that was it. I'll never buy fulton again. Oh yeah the first one I bought did last a couple years but I also only used my boat a couple times a year.

Comments about 1200 lb. Bolt Through Swivel Jack:

My trailers are exposed to saltwater on a regular basis causing instant corrosion on substandard parts. This jack replaced the 5yr old OEM jack that had only 2yrs of saltwater service. To date, the jack exhibits no signs of corrosion or rust and works as smoothly as the day it was purchased.
