Comments about Womens Long-Finger Championship Gloves:

The gloves fit great, and kept their size and shape well. They are precurved, which feels very comfortable and natural. That said, there is one major flaw in the cut of the glove: the edge of the index finger is canted at a too extreme angle (the length on the top of the finger is longer than the underside; on the top it's between the 1st and 2nd joints, but on the bottom it's at the 2nd joint). It's to allow more mobility, but far too much of the underside of the finger is exposed. I got dreadful rope burn because of it. Additionally, they are absolutely not durable. What looks like grey suede is actually some form of man made material -- and the finger tips are all made of this material. 6 weeks and about 450 nautical miles later and the gloves are completely trashed. All of the finger tip pads have thinned and frayed, and several are completely worn through. It took 11 months of similar sailing for my basic, but leather, Harken gloves to wear out. I do not recommend these Gill gloves.

Perfect for having my daughter (12) comfortable as she gets into sailing in local racing series. First day out conditions were rough and the gloves worked well, gave her confidence.

Very comfortable. Fits my hands perfectly. Thanks Gill. I no longer have to wear XS men's gloves that really don't fit well. Perfect with the finger and thumb free. Helps with our Garmin touch screen plotter we have. I will buy some more hopefully they will be on sale at some point or perhaps when there is a site wide offer as the price is a bit steep. But you get what you pay for and should last me a few seasons.

Comments about Womens Long-Finger Championship Gloves:

These gloves are well made and comfortable. But I am not happy with the fit. It might be my hands but my fingers are too short for these gloves, unless I buy a size that does not accomodate my palm. Besides, I really don´t see any difference at all to the other Championship gloves aside from the color and the sizes have different names. I fit men´s S and would have to buy a larger Women´s size which is then basically identical to the men´s glove. Same fit and style, just a different color. I don´t really see the point in offering a women´s glove it is identical to the men´s (or unisex I should say). That being said, I am happy with the gloves.

Comments about Womens Long-Finger Championship Gloves:

I race about 70 races a year and these gloves will last about that long. The 3 full fingers keep moderatly warm even in cold/wet weather while leaving the thumb and index finger free to work.

Comments about Womens Long-Finger Championship Gloves:

Overall nice quality BUT the fingers are much too short. I have small hands and short fingers and even the large just fit me. My daughter has long slim fingers and the large are too small for her. These are for women and the width is fine but finger length way too short
