Comments about Jimmy Styks 11'4" Scout Expedition Bamboo Stand-up Paddleboard:

I tested out this product two days in a row earlier this year and really enjoyed it. We launched off a relatively calm beach in Capitola, CA and I was able to pop up onto it easily. The board handled wonderfully riding the moderate ocean waves and handled turns well. It's length and width allow for a great stable experience for beginners and advanced paddlers. Of all the boards I've ridden in the last three years, I would say this is the best "all-around" board. It's a starter board, but can be easily enjoyed by the more seasoned paddler.

Comments about Jimmy Styks 11'4" Scout Expedition Bamboo Stand-up Paddleboard:

We enjoyed this board as we have several others. The bamboo woodgrained appearance matches the wood work on our larger boat which is where it is kept.
It allows for aggresive use by teen boys, who are far more adept than myself at performance SUP. Its very light, but yet durable as its blown off the boat several times when improperly secured (by others).

This product has delivered. High quality board made the introduction to SUP enjoyable.

I would suggest a better quality Bag - zipper does not hold up..

But the company was quick to respond with a new one.

Comments about Jimmy Styks 11'4" Scout Expedition Bamboo Stand-up Paddleboard:

First time boarder. Great board to learn on. Very challenging at first. I'm 220lbs and initial balancing was a challenge. I'd consider it much more than an entry level board. After a month of use and improved skill and balance the board tracks well and moves at a good clip. Light, quality construction. Like the ability to bring along items using the lash system.

Comments about Jimmy Styks 11'4" Scout Expedition Bamboo Stand-up Paddleboard:

I took this SUP to Lake Tahoe and did an 8 mile expedition. The bungee cords make it very easy to secure a cooler, and speakers for music. The storage on this paddleboard made it possible to do such a long trip. Normally I paddleboard in the ocean.
