Comments about Jl Audio M600/6 Full Range Marine Amplifier:

I just installed this to replace the aging Clarion in my Sea Ray. It does a nice job of delivering mostly clean power to all 8 speakers and the new JL 10" sub at rest and the volume keeps up while underway.

Comments about Jl Audio M600/6 Full Range Marine Amplifier:

I have 8 speaker and a 10" subwoofer powered with this one amp. 4 of them are BOSE 151 and 4 are JL M7.7 Also a JL 10" subwoofer. All are running thru a Clarion CMD7 head unit. This thing is loud and clear. So far I have 3 years of use without a hiccup. I do keep a Golden Rod dehumidifier in the console to keep the moisture out. I think that helps with the units to last longer.

Comments about Jl Audio M600/6 Full Range Marine Amplifier:

I have used the 4 channel 2 times in the same boat 18 foot Ranger Flats boat both time within one year it would start acting up and the reason seemed to be it was not a very well sealed unit. Lots of openings for the invitation of corrosion. Then I went to a 6 channel and so far have found the same issues. In fact I am taking it back in for the same reasons. Not sure what I will go with. The previous one manufacture not to be named lasted 4 years in the same spot. I am loyal to the brand but I am not looking to became a professional amp installer. I have spent a lot of money and time on this and would like to find a amp that works and is weather resistant.
