JL Audio coaxial speakers enhance the boating experience with unparalleled output and fidelity. The 6.5" coaxial speaker is ideal for applications with limited space, and makes for easy upgrading of standard size speakers to JL Audio. The larger 7.7" JL Audio coaxial speaker provides 20% more sound radiating area than the 6.5" coaxial and features oversized, 1.25" woofer voice coils for additional power-handling. The 7.7" JL Audio coaxial speaker is also available in two models, each specifically designed for cockpit panel mounting or small enclosures, such as for wakeboard towers.

Comments about Jl Audio M650-CCX-CG-WH Cockpit Coaxial System:
Installed these speakers to replace some Kenwood speakers that were previously installed on my boat. At first I was a little worried because they sell both a compact 6" and standard 6" speaker. I went with the compact as space was limited in my console. Good news was it wasn't a problem at all! Bolt pattern is slightly smaller, but it still covered all of the original speakers holes. Secondly, I was worried that having an open console that I wouldn't be able to tell an audio quality difference from the original speakers. To my surprise there is a HUGE difference. JL touts themselves with these speakers needing a 2x2 ft space for breathing, and they work flawlessly. Extremely happy with my purchase, and the clarity/power of the sound from these speakers is perfectly complimented with my sub running the lows.
