Nice little strobe light for the price. It is a little dim, especially in the day time. However, it is for emergencies and should work fine.

            Comments about Personal Strobe Light:

My family enjoys hiking, camping, and boating....we're pretty much a Outdoors type of family. I purchased 5 strobes for each of my family members, it's easy to attach, bright and visible. Having an 5 year old son, who is curious, unscrewed the strobe removed the module and cracked the lens. I called the company who made the strobe and they were wonderful! They replace the damaged lens, which I received my replacement lens quickly. Great product, wonderful service......a total package you can't beat.

              Comments about Personal Strobe Light:

We run offshore at night, had a crewman go over. His PFD had one of these Leland strobes on it, in a matter of 5 minutes we had him spotted from at least a mile and a half away. We test these lights often, sometimes you need to fiddle with the contacts against the module but thats becuase we beat them up all day everyday.
I saw a previous reviewer had nothing good to say, but I have had great sucess and even asked the company - Leland - for extra lenses in different colors, easy to work with YMMV

                    Comments about Personal Strobe Light:

I own several. It's a strobe light in an identical housing as the incandescent lights that were affixed to PFDs on-board Naval ships. Tough, reliable, simple to use, very effective and reasonably priced.
