Comments about Plastimo Hatch Screen, 21 1/4" X 13 3/4":

The screen itself is well made with good materials and the stitching is well done. The big problem is that the leaded rope that is supposed to keep it in place and eliminate openings between the screen and deck is pretty useless. I think if I sneezed it would blow away.

Having said that, the screen itself is good and with some modification it will work fine. First, it needs to be secured to the deck. Duct tape will work but will look cheesy. I may just use the duct tape until I can find a tailor to add a weight to the bottom or I may sew one on myself if I can find the time. A heavy enough leaded rope will work. If you don't have a heavy enough rope, then you will need to attach a lanyard so it doesn't blow away.

For the money it was a fair value. Interestingly, I also ordered the Robship hatch cover (model #12816914 which includes the bug screen) and it had the same problem. The Robship is very well made and it includes the hatch cover however it too needs modification as it is too light.

Service and delivery comments:

Not surprisingly, the store didn't have it in stock but it was shipped in from another store.
