Comments about Pro Brand International ProTechT XM Marine Kit:

Bought this last season to put on the helm of my 26' Sea Ray. Installation was a breeze. Hard part was running all the cables, but that's with any boat. After 1 season, the base mount started to disintegrate where it pivots. So now it's useless unless I can find another mount.

Also, most Aux cables will not go all the way into the unit (you need the Aux Cable to run to your head unit for the XM Radio). It has to be a very skinny jack on the one end.

You get two choices for the antenna, a flush mount, and a mast-mount, which takes a standard 1" thread. I went with a rail mount and put it on my bow rail. Reception is perfect, unless under a bridge (normal). Antenna connectors are stainless, but I wrapped them with a little tape anyway. Antenna is decent quality and should last.

Remote works with my Onyx, which is nice, because when I take it to the truck, I can also take the remote.

The flip up door works great, and if assembled correctly, is basically waterproof. It's nice looking, and would compliment any helm, but not worth West's asking price.
