Comments about Punch Corp Sailor 3 Folding Bicycle:

All the paperwork was MISSING - hint, hint, West Marine - and we're not sure how the bike is supposed to fold, or how the adjustments should PROPERLY be made. Without the manual, etc., we're guessing.

    Heavy with corroding parts

Comments about Punch Corp Sailor 3 Folding Bicycle:

Way too heavy. If only the frame was made of aluminum instead of steel... Even when the bike is never exposed to any salt water spray, some parts rust just like on any ordinary bike, and that never works in a marine environment. It's not terrible, but for the price I cannot recommend it.

Comments about Punch Corp Sailor 3 Folding Bicycle:

Folds and unfolds easily. Seat and handlebars can be adjusted very high for a tall rider. Very durable and resistant to corrosive sea air. I regularly ride this bike on 50-mile trips. Fits in a standard triangular dock box. My only complaint is one that applies to all folding bikes: I can't replace the seat post with one that has a built-in spring shock absorber.

Comments about Punch Corp Sailor 3 Folding Bicycle:

I don't understand the appeal of a folding bike that is not light or compact. The three-speed hub is smooth, but the gear range is very limited. This thing weighs 31 lbs. and a comparable Origami Crane is only 26 lbs. (and it folds smaller and is better looking).
