The B265LM Transducer is a bronze, thru-hull depth and water temperature sensor compatible with Raymarine’s CP450C ClearPulse CHIRP sonar. It features a depth and fast-response water temperature sensor in a bronze thru-hull housing with a high-performance fairing block.
The transducer covers the low frequency spectrum from 42kHz to 65 kHz with a beam width of 25° to 16°. It also covers the medium frequency spectrum from 85 kHz to 135 kHz with a beam width of 16° to 11°. The overall bandwidth of this transducer is 73 kHz, covering the popular fishing frequencies of 50, 88 and 107 kHz, plus everything else in the bandwidth. The low-frequency array consists of 7 ceramic elements for outstanding sensitivity, while the medium frequency array is made up of a single high-performance ceramic.
Medium-frequency benefits include the ability to sound deeper than the high-frequency, along with better target resolution than low-frequency transducers offer.
The B256LM is designed for both commercial and recreational inshore and offshore fishing including deep-water canyon and sea-mount tracking. The B265LM is suitable for installation in fiberglass or wood hulls and is intended for boats 25-feet in length or larger.
