Seems to be an issue with this filter

      Comments about Sierra Fuel Filter:

While this is just a plain old fuel filter that most likely performs as it's supposed to, the 1/2"x20 thread that your fuel line is supposed to connect into it doesn't fit. Those are standard 1/2" npt threads, that are on practically every boat on the planet. In fact, after inquiring at pretty much every specialty shop (including a company that makes custom fuel lines, etc.), I've been advised that that thread pattern isn't available, and that nobody uses it, period. Don't know if this was a bad batch during the manufacturing process, or what. Returned it, and went another route. Also, the pic on the website shows a Kohler filter, while the one you're buying is a Sierra. Either way, I can't recommend this product, as it just won't fit a standard fuel line fitting.

      Service and delivery comments:

      Service and delivery were fine.

      Not a OEM replacement

      Comments about Sierra Fuel Filter:

The Sierra "replacement" filter has a different inlet thread specification. Good luck finding a connector to reconnect your fuel line. The Sierra seems to be a 5 SAE thread and the Kohler is std. pipe thread. I have the 5E Kohler.
