Product Description

Extreme coastal and offshore conditions on fast boats call for performance boots with sticky outsoles. Sperry’s SeaRacer Boots deliver all that and more. Waterproof leather, taped and sealed seam construction and breathable waterproof membranes take care of the wet while hydrophonic meshes and linings with 200g of insulation handle the cold. Their sticky Hydro-Grip™ rubber outsoles feature Adaptive Wave-Siping™ that grips the slipperiest decks by dispersing water underfoot and grabs onto dry decks with equal poise. Imported.

        Comments about Mens SeaRacer Boots:

I use these for in-shore and offshore racing in the PNW. I had the last style (which were very wet) and got convinced that these were fixed. These boots are not waterproof. As soon as water hits the lower side when hiking my feet were wet. The sole isn't very grippy either.

Comments about Sperry Men's Searacer Boots, Black, 8.5:

I bought the boots for sailboat racing year around in the Gulf of Mexico and eight months a year in Lake Erie. I use the boots to keep my feet dry and warm in cool and wet conditions. I will continue to use my Sorel winter boots when I go fishing and sailing on the Great Lakes or Gulf of Mexico when the air temperatures go below 35 degrees F.
