Comments about Stay Afloat Plug 14oz.:
I work as a riggerman, and service manager at a sailboat brokerage company. We handle alot of boats on a daily basis and I repair almost anything on a boat you can think of. Generally I use an epoxy putty stick to fill small to medium holes, or just refill a sizeable through hole with fiberglass and resin.
I am working on a job and decided to use this product to find the utility of it. I had never used it before, and in seeing that it needs no mixing thought it would hurry the process of filling a hole.
After using this compound. I have found it is more like a bedding compound, and actually see that it may be the best alternative to a bedding compound seeing as how a can is about 50 USD. This comping never hardens, and has the consistency of a wax. I am currently having to remove the amount I used to use another product, but I am about to use it to rebel my toe rails instead!
