      Comments about Oar Sleeves:

Used a set of these with WM bronze 2" oarlocks and edge mount sockets. Noticeable wear after a single day of use. By end of second day, both sleeves had holes worn in them with one side's ring completely separating from the sleeve. DO NOT BUY.

      Comments about Oar Sleeves:

Fittin these on a respectable oar would be like fittin a 3-inch anchor line thru a 1-inch hausepipe. Ain't gonna happen.

Even if ye got 'em on an oar, the soft unreinforced rubber will only last ye a paddle or two.

I'd recommend these to an enemy.

        Comments about Oar Sleeves:

Following the instructions to the letter I found that the sleaves were difficult to roll up for installation, even using soapy water. Also, when rowing the sleaves moved up the oar and shortened the effectivness of the stroke. I am a former sculler and thought this product had potential for casual use. Nope!

          Comments about Oar Sleeves:

I shop at WM lots. However, having tried four sets of oar sleeve's over several years, none have held up over 15 minutes of rowing a 9.4 Watertender. They have been purchased at stores from Key West to the Chesapeake Bay'
