Comments about West Marine Telescoping Paddle, 52-122cm:

Bungeed to the underside of the trampoline on my catamaran. Needed it to paddle three miles out to sea to the start line of a race after the wind died. Strong paddle- used it for 50 minutes straight. Hit by a cross-swell that ripped two rivets out of the trampoline track and the paddle floated away. It was visible for about a half-mile. If we were not racing, I would have gone back to get it.
          Buying another now.
