Comments about C-Tug Kayak and Canoe Cart:

Strap design great for expansion but buckles are prone to fall off and cam buckle fragile, broke on second use. The whole thing was due to being set up incorrectly to begin with. There are must see videos on manufacturer web site as well as you tube which correct problem.

But a design redo on straps to make them never lose a buckle would be a better fix. Have used many sports straps tightening tents, packs, etc. Sewn in ends prevent buckles from leaving main gear after rigged ( usually) So us Americans don''t expect to have to learn how to tighten or loosen a load on pickups etc. Pull to tighten. Loosen. Remove. No lost parts.

        Service and delivery comments:

Lost one buckle and the cam buckle flew off while loading kayak second time. Had not watched the three manufacture site videos. Or useful You Tube Videos on how to set up straps. This should be a BIG WARNING ON TAG; AS LOSING BUCKLES OR BREAKING MAKES CART USELESS. BUYING REPLACEMENT BUCKLEs AND STRAP.
WENT TO WEST MARINE AND GOT REPLACEMENT ALTERNATIVE BUCKLES AND RE RIGGED BY VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF. West Marine better price by almost $50. And great service! Straps need to have a fail safe to keep from losing parts.
