I have the Roadie 20, the 65 Tundra, and the tundra 45. We go up to the Canadian wilderness camp on islands for 10-5 days, and for 30 days a year. You can check my details under the Yeti 65 review for more detail. The Tundra 45 works great for 2 people for 4-5 days along with the Roadie and no dry ice. The temps range around 80-90 degrees the Roadie stays in the boat to thaw out food, and keep lunch cold. Anything longer than 4 days 4 people...the Tundra 65 & Roadie comes into play with 10 pounds of dry ice, and acts like a freezer to keep things from going bad. If we do 8+ days we add the 45 Tundra as a back up, with another 5 pounds of dry ice...to the Roadie and the 65 for good measure. Just a recap we initially used 100 pounds of dry ice- 60 pounds on up graded coolers that would last 3-4 years each. Now we are down to 15 pounds, and substantially smaller, and more efficient coolers. The Yeti's are heavier empty, but lighter, more efficient, and less bulky full. Which is a great trade off. Enjoy !!! Thanks for your time, AJ

I love a lot of things about this cooler but it is really heavy, even when it is empty. I am a very healthy 53year old woman and I can carry it myself when it's empty but it's a struggle. Th customer service, however, is five-star!

after a few camping trips,

By Dodie

I have nothing bad to say about the Yeti. Ice lasts forever inside after pre-cooling it over night with a sacrificial bag of ice. I added to its front face the bottle opener and was a tad worried that over use it would pull out of the side. I thought perhaps the foam inside the shell would not hold the four screws. So far after a number of uses (opening bottles) the opener is still securely attached. Very pleased.

Quite Possibly My New Best Friend

By Theycallmethefireman

Not gonna lie to you, I've only had this bad boy a few days now and my only regret is that I didn't buy one a year ago! People say, "it's just a cooler" and I stop them real quick. "Hey bud, this is no cooler, this is a way of life." I would recommend to any and everyone.

Amazing cooler

Bought this for my boat in the Florida keys. Three days--same ice--still frozen. In my "other" cooler all the ice melted in a day.

Wow!

Recent purchase. Used it last week for day trip. Put 2 or 3 pounds of ice in it the night before and then added a bit less ice and 3 plastic ice packs. When we got home I just left the ice in it. At the end of the 6th day there was still a little bit of ice in it. At 6 1/2 days the ice was gone but the temperature was still 44.2 degrees. We'll use this often with confidence to pack any thing.

Great Cooler

By iwhitley

from Virginia

I have used this cooler for two weekends in a row. The first weekend it kept ice and drinks cold for 6 days and the following Wednesday I filled it again for my second weekend outing of Metal Detecting, I still have Ice in this cooler on the 8th day. If you get this thing cold before you start it keeps Ice for over a week easy! Well worth the money in the long run. I love this Yeti! Would buy other YETI products in a heartbeat. You get what you pay for!

I just bought the yeti tundra for my boyfriend and he loves it! Great quality and very durable. Kept drinks cold in the cooler with 1 small bag of ice for 3 days. Can't wait to upgrade to larger models.
