    No good for mainsheet

    By SteveRacer

Comments about Salsa Dyneema Single Braid:

Will not run through multi-part blocks without tangling up. Balled up on itself and drags tails ends through blocks leading to a mess. Maybe larger diameter would run through without tangles?

Comments about Salsa Dyneema Single Braid:

Good line for upwind (main & jib/genoa) sheets. Line if very nice in the hand - doesn't stretch - doesn't kink. I have had some problems with individual fibers pulling and snagging.

Soft touch and very strong rope. Could reduce the rope diameter down to 3/8" which fits nice for my small hands.

Comments about Salsa Dyneema Single Braid:

I've used salsa line on a Laser and now a Banshee as the mainsheet. It doesn't get better when comparing on flexibility, softness in the hands and low stretch. For an easy to use mainsheet go for the 8mm.
