Comments about Windex AV:

Once installed this windex works like any other. I'll start by saying that this was a replacement for the loss of my previous 'windex'. I've been plagued by an offset location at the top of my mast and mounting has been challenging. This was really what appealed to me about this model. Slip it right over the existing antenna at the top of the mast - nothing to possibly hinder function. This is exactly what the product delivers.

Installation - I still was forced to address a slight offset issue so the vane did not interfere with the top of the mast. I used a piece of hollow rubber tubing to provide this needed clearance. The tubing went on the antenna first and then the windex. Works like a charm so far. This also prevented me from installing the optimal wind angle indicators, not a concern for me, but other folks might be concerned. just ensure you have the necessary clearance at the top of your mast and at the base of the antenna.

I like the concept and it works fine for me. I'd purchase this again.
