SEAC USA Nick BCD
The back mounted Nick Buoyancy Compensator from Seac is lightweight and allows maximum freedom of movement. The interior bladder is constructed with laminated 500-Denier Cordura, which is highly resistant to tears and cuts. Outer bladder is Cordura 500D coated with polyurethane (PU). Ergonomic back pad and an adjustable independent waist strap add to the back inflators comfortable secure feel.
Two low-drag hidden backup pockets hold gear and accessories out of the way. Power inflator includes Sphere Valve Control System for improved reliability. Inflator comes standard with a 3/8" threaded low pressure quick-disconnect hose. 3 dump valves (inflator, shoulder & back) provide trim in any position.
For accessory attachment the BCD comes with four 1.5" (3.8 cm) and two 1" (2.5 cm) stainless steel D-rings. Shoulder straps, adjustable chest strap and a waist strap are all equipped with squeeze-style" side-release buckles that along with the adjustable cummerbund provide a custom fit and ease of donning/doffing. To prevent BCD, ride up the Nick comes equipped with a removable crotch strap. The bladder is equipped with bungee cords that will aid in a low profile when it is inflated and facilitates rapid deflation when dumping air.
The weight integrated Q & S weight system has a capacity of 9 lbs. (4 kg) in each pocket. The Nick Buoyancy Compensator has a dry weight of 7.75 lbs. (3.5 kg) in size medium-large, and provides 44.9 lbs. (20.4 kg) of lift in all sizes. BCD comes with an owner's manual.
