Quick! Slip on a pair of our latest generation Aqua Socks and get your kids in, on or around the water now!
Since we have not evolved to the point where our bare feet grip wet surfaces like a gecko, we depend on a little help from the footwear industry. That's where our Aqua Socks come in. Although they're not actually socks (you can't wear them inside other shoes), they do fit close to your child’s feet like socks.
The uppers are made of mesh and neoprene. Mesh so water that gets in runs out, they're breathable and they dry really fast. Neoprene so they fit snuggly and they're comfortable without actual socks.
An elastic drawstring lacing system hugs your child’s feet like a bungee cord and locks down for a secure fit that keeps your Aqua Socks from slipping off when they get wet.
All this is great, but the real reason you need to get your kids a pair of these on their feet for the beach, kayaking, stand-up paddling, boating, fishing, or exploring tide pools, is for their nonslip and protective properties. The textured rubber outsoles give them the extra grip they need to stay upright and out of the water while protecting their soft skin from sharp and pointy things like rocks, glass, coral and zebra mussels.
And, just to make sure your kid stay on the good side of the captain on your boat, these Aqua Socks are non-marking. Translation: no ugly black marks on the white gelcoat (what most boat decks are covered with). Imported.
- Mesh and neoprene uppers for breathability and quick drying
