Product Overview

Escape into the wilderness in this comfortable and versatile 10’ Kayak.

The Tarpon 100 takes you where you want to go thanks to its maneuverability and smaller size. Exploring along inlets or creeks and playing in the surf or mild whitewater has never been easier. This compact kayak offers all-around, high-performance components not found in many similar sized sit-on-top kayaks.

With a stable and sturdy ride along with its manageable size and efficient layout, the Tarpon 100 provides generous space for your gear during day trips or short weekend outings. Thanks to the Wilderness Systems’ customizable features, outfitting this yak to suit your favorite hobby requires minimal effort. Spend more time on the water and less time drilling holes in the gunwale.

Balanced Hull

Constructed from strong, high-density polyethylene, the Tarpon’s hull lasts long even in rough waters. Wilderness Systems engineered a flared hull to provide balanced stability and superior tracking while maintaining speed and handling. It glides well for its size while reducing hull slap in choppy waters.

Unparalleled Comfort

The Phase 3® AirPro Sit-On-Top Seat is so comfortable you’ll forget you’re even sitting in a kayak. This innovative design features an ergonomic, contoured seat that flexes for support and adjusts to your specifications. A scalloped, leg lifter raises up and down to support your legs and remove pressure while increasing blood flow. Quickly and easily change the height of the back support to suit your casting, rowing or lounging needs.

The exclusive vented design allows for breathability while simultaneously providing padding and protection to hard contact areas under the legs and along the spine. Additional ventilation and drainage are provided by the small holes on the backrest and seat while simultaneously providing cushioning for your oblique muscles and sit bones.

The Keepers XL Foot Brace system offers larger, “gas pedal” style footpegs that provide better grip and more control while paddling. You can conveniently and easily adjust the footpegs for the most comfortable position to suit your needs. Together with the Keepers XL Foot Brace System, this kayak raises the bar on comfort and adjustability. Before you know it, you’ll have spent your entire day on the water.

Featuring a number of storage options to carry your gear for fishing, cruising or short camping trips. The Tarpon 100 boasts two, large Orbix hatches on the bow and midship for dry storage. The midship Orbix hatch is easily accessible and 8” in diameter. An even larger tankwell than previous models allows you to carry a cooler, tackle box, or bag securely thanks to the adjustable bungee cord. Finally, midship mesh pockets allow you to store any other gear you may need to have readily available.

Wilderness Systems’ patented SlideTrax™ accessory system allows you to easily outfit and accessorize your kayak without drilling any additional holes. Add a cup holder, rod holders, a Go-Pro mount, a fishfinder mount or whatever else you want—outfit your Tarpon to suit your specific activity needs.
