The Fendertex T10-4 Tandem Fender in Gray is a specialty marine fender featuring a dual-tube design that prevents rolling and protects a larger hull surface area than conventional cylindrical fenders. It is particularly well suited for tying a tender to the main yacht, med-tie or stern-tying to a dock when a swim platform is present, protecting the widest points of sailboats, and many other demanding docking applications.

Unlike traditional rubber or plastic fenders, each T10-4 is built with a high-tech polyester textile outer shell and a highly elastic welded polyurethane inner bladder. This combination makes the fender significantly lighter and easier for smaller crew members and children to handle, even in larger sizes. When deflated, the fender compacts down for convenient stowage in tight spaces.

The polyester outer shell provides outstanding abrasion resistance and high compression strength. Its patented salt-resistant knitting technology prevents the absorption of salt crystals, eliminating micro-scratches on hull paint and gelcoat. The shell is dyed in mass, giving it excellent resistance to UV degradation and color fading over time. Cleaning is simple — rinse with fresh water or machine wash in a standard washing machine.

Water can be added to the inner bladder to act as ballast, adding stability in choppy conditions. The fender is fitted with a 316 stainless steel D-ring, a suspension strap sewn in a cross pattern for added strength, and a retention strap that prevents deformation of the collar under compression.
