The Fendertex T73 Tandem Fender in Gray is a specialty marine fender engineered around a dual-tube construction that prevents the fender from rolling on itself while simultaneously protecting a broader surface area of the hull. It is well suited for a variety of docking scenarios, including tying a tender to the main yacht, "med tie" or stern tying to a dock when a swim platform is present, and protecting the widest points of sailboats, among many other applications.

Each fender features a high-tech polyester textile outer shell paired with a welded polyurethane inner bladder. Unlike conventional rubber or plastic fenders, this construction results in a product that is dramatically lighter, easier to handle for crew members of all sizes, and compact enough to stow in tight spaces once deflated. The polyurethane inner bladder is independent of the textile shell, meaning it can be replaced independently in the event of a puncture. Water can also be added to the bladder to serve as ballast.

The outer shell is formed from a 100% polyester high- and low-tenacity tubular knit using mass-dyed yarns, which gives it outstanding resistance to UV degradation and color fading over time. The patented salt-resistant knitting construction limits abrasion on hull surfaces and paint. The fender is machine washable at 40°C for easy maintenance.
