The Fendertex T84 Tandem Fender in Navy Blue is a specialty marine fender engineered for boaters who demand superior protection and versatility. Its unique dual tube design prevents the fender from rolling on itself, covering a larger surface area than conventional cylindrical or spherical fenders. This makes it an ideal solution for a wide range of docking applications, including securing a tender to the main yacht, performing a "med tie" or stern tie to a dock when the vessel has a swim platform, and protecting the widest beam points of sailboats.

Each fender is built around a patented high-tech polyester textile outer shell paired with an ultrasonically welded polyurethane inner bladder. Unlike traditional rubber or plastic fenders, this construction keeps weight to an absolute minimum — making the T84 one of the lightest fenders of its size in the world. Crew members of all sizes can easily handle, inflate, and store these fenders, and the deflated fender rolls compactly to fit in tight spaces aboard any vessel.

The polyester textile outer shell delivers outstanding abrasion resistance and high compression strength. Its patented salt-resistant knitting technique, originally developed for the megayacht market, is specifically designed to avoid micro-scratches on hull paint and gelcoat. Because the textile does not absorb salt, it protects your boat's finish over years of use. The shell is also dyed in mass — meaning color is embedded throughout the yarn — providing exceptional resistance to UV degradation and color fading. Cleaning is simple: rinse with water or place in a standard washing machine.

The highly elastic polyurethane inner bladder is independent of the textile shell, meaning it can be replaced in the event of a puncture without replacing the entire fender. Water can also be added to the bladder to act as ballast for added stability. A secure, fast-emptying valve allows quick inflation and deflation.
