The Harken 22mm High-Load 1250 Car with Fixed Sheaves and Cam Cleats is a precision-engineered traveler car built for demanding small boat applications. Designed for dinghies, keelboats, beachcats, and offshore boats up to 27 ft (8 m), it features a one-piece solid aluminum body with captive ball bearings that roll smoothly even under significant load. The CB (Captive Ball) design means the car rolls on and off the track without spilling bearings, and the open-top return race reduces weight while exposing the balls for easy rinsing.

With a maximum working load of 1,250 lb (567 kg) and a breaking load of 2,500 lb (1,134 kg), this high-load variant is built for performance sailing where sail control under load is critical. The integrated fixed sheaves support 1:1 or 2:1 purchase systems, allowing sailors to fine-tune mainsheet tension directly from the cockpit.
