Seaview 2° Base Wedge for Radar Mount - 7" x 7"
The Seaview PMW27 base wedge installs between the bottom of a Seaview modular radar mount base plate and the vessel's mounting surface. By introducing a 2-degree tilt, the wedge ensures the radar antenna remains level when a planing hull's bow rises while underway. The wedge can also be used to compensate for a sloped deck or mounting surface, improving radar performance and accuracy in real-world conditions.
This wedge is part of Seaview's -7 series, designed to fit all Seaview mounts with a 7" x 7" square base plate. The most common planing attitude requires 3° to 4° of adjustment; if you are unsure which angle to choose, Seaview recommends the 4° wedge. However, the 2° and 6° options are available for applications requiring a finer or coarser correction.
