The Seaview RW42BLK is a direct-mount angled wedge base plate engineered to enhance radar performance by correcting for deck angle or planing attitude on your vessel. It mounts directly between the radome and the mounting surface — ideal for situations where extra height is not required and when attaching a radome directly to a cabin top or radar arch without a forward, vertical, or aft leaning radar mount. The wedge tilts the radar 4 degrees below the horizontal, ensuring optimal scan coverage regardless of the vessel's trim or deck pitch.

Constructed from durable marine-grade polymer, King Starboard, or injection-molded ASA plastic (RW42), this base plate is built to withstand the marine environment. It arrives pre-drilled to fit specific radar models, making installation simple and straightforward with no custom fabrication needed.
