Seaview 8' Pole Kit with 1" Rail Stand-Off Kit
The Seaview 8-foot tall Pole Kit (RM8KT1) is a premium marine electronics mounting solution suitable for virtually any vessel application. Built around a 3-inch diameter marine grade aluminum pole, this kit delivers exceptional durability through a multi-step finishing process: raw aluminum is first treated with Chem Film — a chemical conversion coating that provides a light protective covering — then taken through a 3-part epoxy prime and powder coat. The result is a finish with outstanding corrosion resistance ideal for harsh marine environments.
The kit is equipped with an adjustable hard anodized base featuring a compact 5-1/4" x 3" footprint and a water-tight cable seal. The base can be easily disassembled for pole removal, making installation and maintenance straightforward. A modular top plate is included with the kit to fit closed dome radars, eliminating the unsightly "swiss cheese" appearance of older mounting solutions. The anodized 1/4" thick aluminum top plate is pre-drilled to fit most marine electronics and is encased in UV-stable, glass-filled ABS white plastic. Each top plate is dimpled to match provided drill templates for precise, easy drilling tailored to your specific electronics.
The 1" rail stand-off kit provides secure lateral support for the pole and includes:
- Two turnbuckle-style struts adjustable from 6" to 12"
- Two stainless steel 3" pole clamps
- Two stainless steel 1" rail clamps
The Seaview 8' Pole Kit family includes three configurations: RM8KT1 (pole with one 1" rail stand-off kit), RM848S (pole with two 48" standoffs), and RM8148 (pole with one 48" standoff and one 1" rail kit). Custom pole kit heights are also available by contacting Seaview directly. The kit ships as a special order item direct from the manufacturer.
