Comments about Cole Hersee Continuous Duty Solenoid, 12 Volt:

I use this in an old diesel Mercedes which one a cold day can cause quite a heavy draw from the battery. I wanted to set up a system in which I could completly isolate the battery from the rest of the vehicle. This worked very well in doing so, and I can run it whenever the vehicles running. It was very difficult to find a Continuous Duty Solenoid that was capable of handling the occasional high draw from the starter, but I am happy to say I found one!
