Used for in-land lake fishing. It is a great unit!
Great Product
I bought my Elite Ti2 about a month ago and installed it on my 2918 Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW. The unit is fairly easy to use and has many options. Lowrance has some rally good videos to help understand all the functions of the sonar, downscan, side scan and charts.

Comments about Lowrance Elite-7 Ti² with Active Imaging 3-in-1 Transducer and US/Can Navionics+ Card
You might get two years out of the unit, if you're lucky before it starts giving you issues. Mine started giving me sonar issues last year with sometimes not reading the depth, as it seems confused, then will just start working. However, this summer the sonar just quit completely, as if the transducer isn't connected. Tried a second transducer but didn't make a difference. I'm told the software for the sonar is corrupted or erase, no fix. My second Lowrance Elite that didn't last the third summer... there will never be another Lowrance product on my boat.
One awesome unit love the touchscreen capabilities

The Elite Ti2 is TERRIBLE!!! Search the internet first. Biggest well known and quite common issue is the sonar software basically erases itself (shows version 0.0.0), which cuts the interface between the head unit and the transducer so you get no sonar. It is not repairable. Brand new unit professionally installed on a brand new boat and I used my unit 5 times and had MAJOR ISSUES each use. GPS kept disconnecting (center console boat, sunny day), the touchscreen freezes and you can't do a thing and sometimes it unlocks and other times it's restart and even hard reboot. The screen goes blank for no reason.......and then the dreaded no sonar 0.0.0. Done. Dead in the water. Lowrance knows about this issues, as it has been around since this unit was released and in fact existed on the original Ti yet they still sell it. Stay away. User beware. Take my advice and search the internet and see for yourself. BTW this unit came with a new boat I bought so it was not purchased nor endorsed through West Marine. And I've had 2 prior Lowrance units including a Hook2 and both have worked flawlessly.
